Privacy Statement
This privacy statement determines the manner in which Injeq Oy (“Injeq”) collects and processes personal data in the context of its business process.
Injeq undertakes to protect personal data. Injeq shall follow procedures and processes that serve to protect personal data in accordance with the requirements of the data protection legislation.

2. Legal basis and purpose of the processing of personal data
Personal data is primarily obtained in situations where a corporate customer/supplier has acquired/delivered products or services from/to Injeq. Personal data is processed for the following purposes:
1. Delivery or purchase of products and services
Personal data processed for this purpose includes contact information, billing information and other information that customer, supplier or its employee has provided us during the provision of products or services.
2. Maintaining business relationship with our customers and suppliers in context of customer/supplier service and communication as well as managing customer/supplier meetings
Personal data processed for this purpose includes information related to customer/supplier service such as contact information, information submitted via surveys and feedback forms, information about participation to events, travel and accommodation information, newsletter subscriptions or other data provided to us in the context of customer/supplier service requests.
3. Development of our products and services
Personal data processed for this purpose includes contact information and equipment identifiers.
4. Fulfilling statutory obligations and any other official rules and regulations
Personal data processed for this purpose includes any information relevant regarding a statutory requirement.
Legal basis for processing our customers’ or suppliers’ personal data is always one of the following:
1. Consent
With regards to a newsletter subscription, we process personal data only if a customer has given consent for it. Customers can withdraw their consent for direct electronic marketing purposes by using “unsubscribe link” at the end of the received email message.
2. Legal obligation
In relation to fulfilling our statutory obligations the legal basis of processing is our legal obligation.
3. Legitimate interest
We process personal data based on our legitimate interest in the context of developing, selling, marketing, delivering and providing our products and services, to maintain business relationship with our customers and suppliers, and to organize and manage customer and supplier events.
4. Regular data sources
We primarily collect personal data directly from you. You may disclose information to us, for example, by contacting us, by providing feedback, by participating in an event organized by us, by registering as a user of our services or by ordering our newsletters or other material.
5. Retaining personal data
Injeq retains personal data as long as it is necessary for the purpose they were collected for, or until we receive a request for erasure – unless we have a legal obligation to retain it for a longer period.
6. Personal data disclosures and transfers
We use third parties, such as service providers, for collecting, storing and processing personal data on our behalf. Such service providers may only process your personal data to the extent it is necessary for performing the service we have requested. Such parties cannot use your personal data for promoting their operations without your consent.
In order to protect your privacy, we require all of our service providers to maintain the confidentiality and adequate security of any personal data we share with them. Such parties must also observe any data processing agreements and applicable data privacy legislation.
Injeq may also disclose or transfer your personal data to its group companies. In general, your personal data will not be transferred outside the EU. In case your personal data is transferred abroad, we will always ensure the security of the transfer by ensuring that such a transfer is legally justified and that any regulations on data transfer are observed.
In conjunction with any sale, assignment or other reorganization of its business operations, Injeq may forward personal data processed by it to the parties of the transaction and their advisors. Personal data may also be disclosed in accordance with demands presented by competent authorities and statutory requirements. Further, we may process and disclose your personal data to third parties, if this is necessary for protecting the interests of Injeq, its employees or for protecting or defending other rights or interests or investigating crimes targeting Injeq.
7. Security of personal data
We use technical and organizational measures to ensure the security of personal data from loss, misuse or other similar unlawful access. Such methods include the use of firewalls, encryption technologies and safe server premises. Access to personal data is limited on “need-to-know” basis and controlled by system access rights, as well as through granting and controlling access rights.
In the event of a personal data breach, we will notify local supervisory authorities and everyone whose personal data may have been endangered in accordance with applicable legislation.
8. Data subject rights
Right of access
You have the right to inspect which of your personal data has been recorded in the register.
Right to rectification
You have the right to require the rectification of inaccurate and erroneous information.
Right to be forgotten
You may request us to erase your personal data from our systems. We shall carry out the procedures you require, provided we have no legitimate reason to abstain from removing such information.
Right to restrict processing of personal data
In certain statutory cases, we may restrict the processing of personal data.
The right to object to data processing
You may request restrictions to the processing of your personal data. You have the right to decline electronic direct marketing by following instructions included in all marketing messages we send.
Right to data portability
You have the right to obtain your personal data from us in a structured and commonly used form so that you are able to forward such data to another data controller, when the processing of your personal data is based upon consent or an agreement concluded between us. This only applies to personal data that you have provided to us.
Right to withdraw consent
If the processing of your personal data is based upon consent, you have the right to withdraw such consent at any time.
